I don’t just call my piggy Finn, I always call him my boy Finn. He is my baby boy and I will always love him no matter what. Bless him.
Also, my forum name Seven7 came from my boy Finn being born in the year 2017. He is my lucky boy Finn.

It‘s fine whatever you call any pet. What’s important is how it’s treated, with love and kindness x
 
She is gorgeous. I always have added additional/alternative names for my pets. For example I call my piggie Benny, Benny Bo Bo. I called my cat who’s name was Jack several different names including Mr Trimble and Rookie. 😏

her other names are 'divapig' 'Luna Elsa James ( James is my last name ) and 'fluffball' cuz when she popcorn she looks like a ball of fluff. Oreo my other guinea pig has the shortened name of Ori and also is a baby girl however I never lost on her as she is not very photogenic ( though in real life she is gorgeous)
 
Of course! I once sent a photo of me and my brother's girlfriend to my mum who responded with "Ahhhh, my two favourite human girls!"

So yeah, even my mum clearly prefers my furbabies to me! :D

haha , my mum hates the pigs and my nan has fear of rodents ( mainly rats she doesn't mind guinea pigs as much )

Don’t think my pets ever get called their ‘real’ names! Even Arnie the goldfish who gets called ‘Arnoldina’ sometimes after realising she was actually a girl! Rosie the cat is ‘Posio’, Daisy the cat answers to that or ‘Lulu’, Jess has a million names (like JJ, Poochie, Sexy Lady and recently The One-eyed Piggy Monster if she’s in a grump!) and Luigi answers to ‘Gigi’! All my babies and get called that too :)
 
I'm not sure my boys have ever heard their "real names" sweet potato is spud, spudoink and spuddy boy and cuddles with him are spuddles. Together with his brother they are known as piggies, piggawoos, babbies, fur beans and baby bears. I'm sure they either find me very embarrassing or are experiencing an identity crisis but I can't help myself they're just too cute.
