My 'bald' guinea pig is growing hair

Truffles lost all her midriff hair about 2 years ago. I guessed it was a hormone issue, or stress. She was other wise happy and quite dominant in with the other two females. Early this year, I put her in with my neutered male, Hovis, and things began to change. Within 6 weeks, her hair had started to sprout again, and continues to come back. Whether she'll get it all back I don't know, but to me she seems happier with him, and her two ex-friends seem happier without her, so I can only guess it wasn't a friendship made in heaven. As for her cyst, it hasn't come back, and has finally healed.

This is something more to learn with guinea pigs. I believe stress can do a lot; these little ones really react to it. It sounds like Truffles is going so much better. Which one is she? They all are just so adorable.

Not heard of this before. Truffles must be happy with her husboar. Every day's a school day!
