Bill & Ted

Ginger and Posh arrived into our home in the Spring of 2020 just before the first Covid lockdown. They came from Maria’s Animal Shelter in Probus, Cornwall. We had just lost Bill who was Ted’s birth brother (hence the my name Bill and Ted) Ted was rather lonely without Bill so we had a chat with Uncle Simon who said despite his age (5) and his dental problems he saw no reason not to have Ted neutered and meet a lady or two

Ted, Ginger and Posh was the easiest bond ever. The photo above is Ted, Ginger and Posh 20 minutes after the start of bonding in the kitchen already out on the lawn enjoying some grass in their run.
Posh was the boss and would keep a close eye on Ginger as the first few days she would sneak around Ted and nip his bum! Ginger soon stopped and she formed the closest bond with Ted, they really loved each other very much and would be always laid out next to each other. When Ted died just before Christmas 2020 the girls carried on but were so quiet. Hector arrived in Spring 2021 but he wasn’t to Posh’s liking so he was swiftly sent packing!
The girls stayed as a pair and lived in the spare room. They were happy and got on really well. Posh was the boss! Ginger was the underpig and was happy with her place. Ginger was such a kind and innocent little pig. She loved her food and spending time out in the run in summer. She had a truly happy personality and went with the flow and happy to follow Posh around, there was never any argument between them

Ginger was my little ray of sunshine and had the most beautiful amber eyes when the sun shone

We will all miss you so much Ginger, you brought such happiness and I have been so lucky and honoured to have cared for you.
I know that you will be with your “special boy” Ted now, say hello to him for me
I’m so sorry I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye, love you always my little ray of sunshine x
