My beloved Arnie the Goldfish ❤️

I am just catching up after a hectic week. I am so sorry that Arnie has joined the masses of well loved souls at the Rainbow Bridge. Goldfish can make fabulous companions. My MIL has 2 amazing characters at her home and they bring her such joy. She sounds like she had a fabulous life with you @alpacasqueak, with love, care and stimulation aplenty. Sleep tight Arnie xx

The two OAP apple snails are moving in to her tank today, (my messed up hand will appreciate it atm!) it’s still very strange this orange beast isn’t following my every move in there like normal! Don’t think they’ll be quite as active surprisingly! 🐌

Just had to double check but the oldest goldfish on record is 43! So she didn’t quite make it to that amazing age! But longer than she would if she’d stayed with (the non-animal person that is!) my nephew’s mum I think!
 
So sorry to read this. Fish are wonderful little creatures and become such a huge part of the family. They had a fantastic loving home with you . Huge hugs x
