My beloved Mirtle is being put to sleep tomorrow.

After 8.40 am Mirtle, my darling pig, will be put to sleep. I should have done it today, but being a selfish human I wanted just one more day to snuggle with her.

She is now resign to one corner of the pen. She doesn't look at the other two pigs. She has also developed diarhorria. She no longer gets up and runs to me. She no longer wants her food.

My darling Mirtle, mummy loves you loads. x
 
really sorry to hear. I'm sure she knows you love her very much and has appreciated her extra special time with you today...8...:0
 
I'm very sorry you have had to make this decision. The hardest thing is to let a pig go...Just know that it is for the best..Thinking of you and Mirtle x

You poor thing, and poor Mirtle. We were hoping that she would be alright for a bit longer. Big hugs and we are thinking of you.:(
 
This morning I found her hunched in a pool of diarrhoea. Then I knew it was right. The vet was lovely. I didn't want to stay with her. I wanted to remember her as she was.

At 8.50 she was gone.

R.I.P. my darling.
