ive had piglet and roger for a few months, and in that time period they have blatantly refused to eat green pepper, which baffled me because everyone who i knew who had pigs told me how much they loved them. they do like orange and red bell peppers tho (go figure, considering they're more than twice the price of the green ones!). so tonight i was cutting up a green pepper to make with my dinner, and roger started squeaking his head off because he thought whatever vegetable i was cutting up was for him (which is usually the case!).
so to humor him (and get him to chill out) i gave him a little piece of the pepper, expecting him to reject it as always. on the contrary, he started devouring it, and then when piglet tried to get in on it, engaged in a passionate tug of war over the pepper (that they previously hated)! i just dont get it. i think they just get bored during the day so they plot ways to confuse me @) but if thats the case, ill gladly start buying the cheaper peppers! ;)

maybe it was the way you cut it?mine only like certain veg cut in certain ways rolleyes and yes they like veg from one shop and not so much another!

mine like the yellow one, then the green and are less keen about the red ones, but I usually buy two and change between each one every day so they can like it or leave it - thats pretty much why I put such a diverse plate out, what one might like, the others might not or they might not want the same thing a couple of days later, but as long as they eat just half of what I put out then I am happy

haha, mine only like the green ones and refuse to eat the red and orange ones.

I just think they enjoy the fact that they can be fuss pots and they know we'll cater to them :)

Mine only eat the red pepper and only if its sliced in a certain way. Mum tells me not to pander to them and if their hungry they'll eat it but they look at me with big reproachful eyes as if to say 'We don't ask for much but you've cut it all wrong!'. Bless the cuteness.

haha thats too funny, reminds me of little kids who only eat the sandwich cut diagonal, not across! (which i must admit i was partial to as a child hehe)

two of my girls, would never eat it, untill the babies came along and now they stuff it in!:)

I'd say, keep trying!
Mine turned their nose up with Bell peppers, but I put them in everyday till now, they're loving it!
