I put frozen plastic bottles of water, wrapped in towels in with my boys they love them and last all day to help keep them cool.
Crumble sat next to his
Treacle climbing on top to cool down..
Woody lies next to his..
and Frankie cooling him self next to his..

Thanks everyone, My boys live in cages in a stone shed with a plastic roof. The door is in two halfs so the bottom is shut and the top is open, and it has a detachable screen to keep cats etc out but the fresh air in. But it does get hot so the bottles are a good idea to keep them cool in the hot weather. (in the cold weather they come inside to the spare bedroom )
When the sun goes over abit I put them in the garden in two seperate runs and large garden umbrella's are put up to give extra shade. They were out today for about 4 hours on the grass.

Thanks for the great idea. My boys are in our bathroom at the moment (we're re-decorating!) its a big room and the window is open constantly but its been so hot the past few days i was worried they might get too hot although they seem happy enough. But I will pinch this idea!

You have the lovely looking clever piggies. It is amazing that you are taking care of the piggies when their is changes in the temperature. After all they are also have a feeling. I think there is a great attachment between you and your pretty piggies.
