My Boys Now They Have Settled In

Just wanted to share a few pics of my boys Dave and Derek now they have settled in they are very cheeky and love being nosey. Dave is the white paw and Derek is the black dutch Dave LOVES his food and Derek loves to scratch his back against the nibble stick lol x

What handsome boys!

I love Dave's eyes. I love all guinea pigs, believe me, but I'm partial to the pink or red-eyed piggies. Maybe it's because my boy, Bacon, has red eyes, or maybe it's because I despise all the superstition that surrounds animals with red eyes, deeming them 'creepy'.

Glad to hear they're settling in well!
 
Great names Derek and Dave are stunning :love: Settling well by looks of it, soon have their little paws under the table
 
thank you all for your comments feels like they have always been here they both have their own unique personalities Dave is very lively and cheeky and always squeeking for his veggies while Derek is very laid back as long as he can scratch his back on the nibble stick and he has a mound of hay to sleep under hes happy as larry lol my youngest son whos autisitc loves Dave he sits next to the cage and watches him for ages and Dave will come up and squeek at him so sweet to watch oh i love Daves eyes too never seen a guinea pig with pink eyes before x

The other day my son (8 years old) and I were sat by the cage talking about Albino guinea pigs, or 'ribena' guinea pigs as my son calls them, bless him, and he asked me, "can they see alright?" So maybe this is a question you could answer for us? Do you notice Dave having any problems findind his way about compared to Derek?
 
Hi Andrea no Dave has no problems seeing he's very alert and runs around fine he's very active compared to Derek he's very nosey as well lol x they are my daughters piggy's but have to admit I've become very attached to them lol x

I love pink eyed piggies. They are often overlook unfortunately. Your boys sound wonderful it is great that your son enjoys interacting with them also.
 
awww thats so sad that they are often over looked they are beautiful just like all the other piggys, my son is currently sat next to their indoor run feeding them their veggies and just watching them :) x
