A vet recommended them to me too. Like you, I wish I never fed them. My bunny is on them and due to his gut problems it would not be good to change them. I wish I knew this before. I had no idea grains were so unhealthy.

The one with mint doesn't have mollasses like the other versions but it does have sugar beet pulp plus soya and grains. My pigs have a history of Candida issues and are doing really well since sugar and grains were removed from their diet.

glad to hear this. i don't like the excel brand. i know alot of rabbits have had tummy issues on it. i'm just using it at the moment as it's what mollie is used to. she has the mint one so glad it isn't quite as bad. to be honest though, she prefers the oxbow so both her and eddie eat those first and sometimes still have some excel left in the morning. i'm another who only feeds a small amount of pellets at night. :)

Ohhh, I see! Grain less seems to be the way to go, except most piggies don't seem to like them (cheeky , lol). These look similar to these? http://www.thehayexperts.co.uk/beaphar-nature-guinea-pig.html

I bought a bag of these to try and my lot weren't impressed. They love their Burgess too much.
I've seen and smelt the bag of these and bunny is still diff even better recipe as we have seen from Helens input.

Try the Bunny Suzy and see if that makes a difference? Like I said before its taken me 5 months of being stubborn to get my boys to swap. I think they had burgess withdrawal ha but I persevered and it paid off :)
