I got two packs of this, you can also get packs from b&q too. You just put them together how you like it to be!

You would get the base corraguated plastic, also known as correx from local signmakers, travis perkins (who call it cordek) and cut it to size.

www.guineapigcages.com will show you how to do it all! its really easy!

well done mrs, that looks excellent, i like the shelf, we keep meaning to put a few in for ours, but never get around to it.

Happy shopper

Thank you so much for the helpful post! your cage is amazing i have started the ball rolling with mine now you really have made me and my Piggy's so happy! i hope your piggies are having a great time do they manage to get up on the ledge okay x

Aw thank you! Keep us updated on your cage and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask!

Yeah, they love the ledge, they can jump up on it easily, but I also have steps going up to it, I think you can see that in the piccie. They love the ramp too! all they do is popcorn up and down it! :))

WOW thats fab! the ramp looks great and i love the little shelf with scruffy on! You've done an excellent job, well done!:)):)) What did you use as a base on the 2nd floor?

I'm picking up my grids tonight, still got to get the correx sorted out! I need to find a man with a van! inbreeding

Ive got to get fleecing for the shelf and the upper level hence jus newspaper at the moment!

I used correx which I had left over for the base, just measured it and made a little tray as such for them up there too. I am so pleased I have a second level as they love the ramp! I dont think I would have a cage without one if I could do one.

How exciting Louise! i bet you will get home and start piecing it together, even though you havent the wooden base - its just that temptation isnt it! lol!

I was like that, but my sister OH has his own van, so I borrowed him for the Saturday morning! hehe!

That looks wicked! I wish i could have a c&c cage but i'm allergic to my piggies so keep them outdoors tho we are building a big inclosure around there hutch to keep them warm in the winter xx

Aw thats bad, so when you hold them, does that make you bad?! i would hate to be allergic to my babies, i feel for you!

Aw thats cool, they will love that! nice and toasty in the winter! :)

It looks absolutely fabulous, well done you, you've obviously done a lot of planning! I usually chop the ends off cable ties (especially ones inside to stop curious nibblers!)

its lovely to watch isnt it! It took me the put together about 20 mins, then to bend ramp and attached about 10mins. to cut out the fleecing it took bout 25/30mins and correx my sisters OH did for me which took him bout 30mins to make sure all measurements correct, cut out and stuck together.

all in all bout 1hr and half, not long at all! i spread it out though over a few days, like did cage one day, ramp and fleecing another etc.

Its so easy to do, and i love it!

yeah, i will, thanks emma! they've got plenty of things to naw on, so lets hope they use them!

I'm think of doing 3 by 5 for 4 piggys will that be big enough
yeah, ours is a bit ott for 4, but we had enough grids, so we thought "what the hell!" but I wanna adopt a neutured boar to go with them!
