My cage is here!

My 2x4 C&C arrived today! I set it up and put some bedding in. It's hemp because that's what I use for my hamsters, I can't use fleece because I don't actually have a washing machine yet. Our clothes get hand washed in the bathtub haha.
Can't wait until I get my piggies ^-^

I would get a large towel or piece of fleece to cover half the cage so the they dont feel too exposed. It looks a fab space for them.

Yeah, I did that with my syrian hamster, just decided one day I wanted a hamster and got him the next day, I did my research after I'd gotten him. Found out I'd made lots of mistakes. I had unsafe bedding, too small of a cage, too small of a wheel etc. Had to go out and spend even more money on a proper cage, safe bedding, bigger wheel. Felt soooo guilty. So I'm trying to do everything right the first time around with the guinea pigs

I was actually thinking of doing that, it would look a lot prettier with a nice blanket hung up!
