Hey guys.

So I got a new cavy about a week ago, his name is dexter. Now I've had cavys before but this is new to me.

I put a treat stick in his cage that the pet store person said he might like. For the first week he ate his food, hay and treat stick happily.

Now, I refilled everything a few times but started a few days ago, I haven't had to refill his food, hay or water, yet he's been eating his little treat stick...

Should I be worried? His water level doesn't really go down and neither does his food. He eats just a little of his hay.

What he really needs to eat is hay, veggies and some pellets. Hay above all. Treats aren't really necessary and usually those type of treats (the sticks) aren't even good for them... (it depends on the ingredients ofc).
