Muonna
New Born Pup
Okay so when I first picked up my boars (rescued, due to an accidental breeding), my Dad swore he didn't like guinea pigs. He told me he didn't want anything to do with them, and thought they'd just be pointless to own as pets. Considering how smitten he was with my old gerbil, Kushi, me and my Mum figured otherwise.
So, anyway, he still drives me over there to pick them up and says hello to the latest litter (3 days old!) and sees my boys, I give them a cuddle, and we take them home. He doesn't pay them much attention.
Fast forward 3 months and I catch him. He thought I was asleep and snuck in to give them some dandylions. I catch him red-handed and he mumbles about thinking they would be hungry.
I leave my boys with my parents whilst I go to visit my boyfriend (my parents are very capable) and come back to news that Dad had taken to sleeping in my room whilst I was away to keep them company.
And now, here we are 7 months later. He comes in to stroke them (especially Dax, who loves having his nose rubbed), feed them treats while he thinks I'm sleeping, and generally spends just as much time with them as I do. He talks to them, they wheek for him (and me) and he's thoroughly smitten.
It seems nobody is free of the guinea pigs' charm!
