My dad the hay

Oh >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( my dad makes me so mad with is obssion of clean every little last bit of hay up from the drive

i mean jsut now he was moved the cage with my 6 day old babies after i had to get them out today to clean the cage out and then he comes and it moving the cage like its a bin bag and jsut shoving it here and there

he was picking bits out with a kinfe from a corner
evry day he allways there swaping the hay up i do clean it up after i have cleaned there cage out

on wednsady i was just puting the runs out and i could see he was going to swep the hay up and i said theres not point et as i will be geting them out in a min and what dose he do sweap it up and then when i go to get them out the hay is over the drive again as some piggies like to brong some hay with them then he is shouting about the mess

I'm sure he didnt need to move the cages today at all

makes me so mad
 
My dad is obsessed with hay too but it's in the house. I can understand to a certain extent but he has pond fish and the mess he causes from them is unreal!
 
think god its not jsut my dad

you would think it was the end of the wrold with my dad
 
my dad aint like that! More my mum, but she looooooves cleaning and making things tidy!
 
haha my OH found a bit of hay in the butter the other day and all he said was " you know youve got piggies when you find half a field in your butter "
 
My mum, dad and little brother have all got an OCD with cleaning, I swear they never stop cleaning. 98)
 
My parents are ok with hay everywhere ;D You always know when I've been cleaning out the pigs and charlie, there is megazorb all down the stairs along with hay, and loads of hay and pig poo in the garden where I've shaked the fleece haha ;D

My OH has an obsession with hoovering and sweeping hay and sawdust just the same!

I'm cleaning them out and he gets the brush out to sweep the carpet, i say to him 'babe i have to do the nails and check teeth in a min so i have to get them out so they will bring some on the floor' he ignores me and ten mins later gets the hoover out and hoovers the whole floor 4 or 5 times....it annoys me, but at least i dont have to do it ::) ;D I just wish he wouldnt follow me around the house sweeping ::)

i dont have a problem with him cleaning the way up

its when he moving the cage when there are 6 day old babies in whcih i not happy about

my mums ok with the hay but not after she just hoverd up tho it dosent get in the house only when i bring them inside

Thats where the selective hearing somes in useful! Either that or some earplugs ::) ;D
 
cant you keep the babies in your room? and get one of those mini hoover things that people have for their cars? :-\
 
nope my mum not allow that

there nice and wrom in there cage now under the day with there mummy lilly

My dads the same, completley obsessed he is. Reckons we'll get kicked out he house cos theres a few bits of hay in the stting room and does nothing but yell at me ::)

My hubby is exactly the same, more than 6 pieces of hay in the house and he gets the hoover out, moaning "those b....y pigs" as he goes! ;D :D

(He loves them really! :smitten:)
 
my lot are all so used to hay around the place that they dont even mention it anymore I'm usually covered myself in hay and god knows what all Mick says is you should have married a farmer, my 5 kids have all grown up with pigs in thier lives as well as dogs and a parrot so they know no different, and maybe your dads are doing a good thing because hay could attract mice then he relaly would be moaning so let them pick it up
 
Sometimes people find it hard to understand about mess. like the piggies are delibertly doing it or should know better.
i seem to be a bit late in this topic so its like I'm randomlly posting... ;D erm.
i always seem to have a big pile of sawdust in the garage and my dad moans at me I'm like what do you expect me to do,
have a word with the piggies and tell them to stop kicking it out..then again if only i could! ;D

I have married a farmer! You wouldn't think it, he likes the house spotless!
