My dad is visiting for the first time in a while. He comes in and notices the guinea pig house which he has seen a few times before. So he started complaining about how people can't have guinea pigs inside and how my house isn't a shed. Also the C&C is an eyesore, first of me noticing :mal:

Does anyone else deal with this?

Uh my brother hates my piggies and the fact their in house but their in MY bedroom so i just ignore him but he is forever making sarky comments and telling me guinea pigs are rubbish and a waste of my money ect...! :mal:

It's none of his business and i love them to bits and no matter what anyone says they are staying put!

When I moved my 2 indoors I expected a lecture from my dad (I'm nearly 37 and moved out of home when I was 18 yet I still get lectured!). I nearly fell off my chair when mother did her 'disapproving' sniff and dad told her that it was my house and I can do what I want. However, I always make sure that the hutch is sparkly clean when they visit.

My lot have always been inside, I had to return to the parents but thankfully they allowed the guinea's to stay indoors. I've been very lucky that my parents don't say anything about them. I did however get told initially when I lost interest they would be off to a re-homing center. 4 years on, erm.. the pigs are still hiding out in my bedroom. They do however have a custom built cage, which looks much better than CC.
