My wonderful boy Toffo went over the Bridge earlier today. He was 5 years and 5 months old, and we adopted him from Thistle Cavies just over five years ago.

He was absolutely fine until yesterday, when he seemed a bit down in the dumps and off his food a little. He perked up again last night, but this morning he was down again. The vet couldn't find anything wrong (he's always been a bit prone to chest infections, but it was clear this time). He brightened up when he came home from the vet, but just went to sleep a while later.

He was a wonderful boy, full of character, and we will all miss him. His little friend Harry Haggis especially will miss his partner in crime.

Goodnight Toffo, sleep tight. And then run free with all the other piglet friends I've known who are waiting across the Bridge.
