This will sound really mean but I actually prefer hairy pigs. Obviously I love my skinny's but you can't stroke a skinny in the same way as a hairy. There are also a lot of myths about skinny pigs. They need a bit more food than hairy pigs but not the huge amounts allegedly required. They also don't need to have their skin oiled etc. They need clean cages, high quality food and everything a hairy has. I would say stick with hairy pigs that you can stroke and groom etc LOL

Lol thanks for the tip! I was put off getting one when I read you have to keep them at a certain temperature.. I was thinking... oooo heating bills lol

We don't have central heating and my skinny's live in the spare bedroom and I don't provide heat, just extra hay and a bit more food. They don't huddle as if cold and pretty much behave the same as in the summer. Whilst they probably wouldn't survive outside in winter there's no need for expensive heating bills.

Awww  great to put names to furry faces! I was just speaking to you in the introductions thread.

Gorgeous piggies, hope to see lots more of them!
