Okay, I have a female guinea pig around the age of 3 ( got her when she was around 8 months). We got her from this horrible pet shop, ALL of the guinea pigs in there bit, but I fell in love with her and had to bring her home. I trained her not to bite, and she has not bit anyone for about 2 years. I had gotten very busy with school and traveling, so I had my father take care of her while I was gone. When I came back a few months ago, I brought another guinea pig home, ( a neutered male ) So she could have a play buddy. This is when I noticed that my father has been spoiling her with food, as she is obese. She has now cut down under vet care, but ever since she's been starting to bite everyone but my father. I'm guessing it's because of "diet" my vet had us put her on. Or maybe she just doesn't like me anymore for leaving her? 8... Does anyone have any suggestions on weaning her off the biting? I have tried training her again...but it's not working. I miss the connection me and her used to have 8...
