my first c&c cage.... comments please

I've put Howard and his 2 lady friends (Maggie and Nanny Ogg) in here. They seem to like it :)

I'll be moving them back onto vetbed/profleece soon, but for now they are on shredded cardboard (not finacard >:D )

As I say its my first attempt so any comments welcome
 
Looks great Jane how did you find making the upstairs? I want to make an upstairs for the girls they are in a 4x4 but I want to extend it to 5x3 and add a 2x4 upstairs! :)

Making the top level was really easy, once I'd got my head around which way to place the connectors. You should definately give it a go Lou

they are the exact dimensions I was planning to do for Gus's hareem.

Trying to work out the best way to make the stairs hasn't been so easy. At the moment we are using 2 willow bridges bound together, but I think we'll go down to wickes and buy some WBP to make a solid ramp.

howard our boar is fine, maggies is getting there, and Nanny Ogg is taking her usual "I'll do it in my own time" approach. ;D We've nudged her up there a few times to make sure she gets some hay, and rob caught her up there this morning. They had a ramp in their old hutch, so they'll be fine.

ramps how do you do them out of C&C. As some of you know we are getting three more girlies to live in the barn that Hayley is rehoming the boys are moving into a new batchelor pad shed that my mum is giving us it's 10x8 so I can divide it into 2 for Harvey and Tika! soooo I want to make a 6x4 lower lovel and 4x2 upper for 7 pigs. Of course I have suitable accomadation for the new girlies while I bond them but do want to make this large c&c before they arrive!

I'll have a Piggy Princess Palace for them! :)

So for the ramps is it just a matter of bending the C&C over?
 
That looks fab! Loving the log roll ramp, wish i'd thought of that instead of battling bending cubes lol
