Here is my first attempt at a guinea pig cushion. :))

The stitches are awful on the Guinea pig and on the right hand edge, but hey ho it's only the second time I've used a sewing machine so I suppose it's not a total failure but rather something to improve on. I had issues with the material rooshing up on the guinea pig, and didn't I know how to do a neat edge on the side that you keep open to stuff, so I'll have to watch a few tutorials on those. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on how to avoid these issues?

I'll keep practicing. :lol:
 
So cute! I love it. And personally think that wonky stitching really gives things lovely character!

I might do a darker outline around the Guinea pig to make it stand out more, it's a bit camouflaged at the moment. :xd:

No tips on stiches , but l love the desine,

Ever thought of macking snuggle tubes and pockets,:hmm:
 
If I could get good enough to make things like that, then yes I'd consider making some. :D
 
Cuddle pockets are brilliant , my Marge and her 2 cage mates are having floor time
At the moment but when l put a snuggle pocket by the radiator , they all snuggled in it together :hug:
