Hi Guys,

Well he got home to my mum's OK last night.
I only realised how bad he was when i put him in his cage. he didnt move just stodd there frozen. i think he is going to take a lot of TLC and time to get back to piggieness. I havent heard him wheek or squeak at all!

I found out his history too. he had a cage mate but they were in an outdoor hutch and in the cold his friend died. :(

But he is with me now. i have him in my old room at my mums house which is quite cool so the temperature shock shouldnt be too much. and he is getting into a routine with my mum of having morning and evening veggies.

he is eating all his veggies and he is pooing well :))

ill add some pigtures when i can get him confident enough.

Oh and me and my OH are going round later tonight to name him. (i told Wes he could pick as it would be mainly his piggie.)

Well done you, he sounds just like one of my rescues (who is now first in line for the veggies) Looking forward to the pictures. xx

look forward to seeing pics of your new addition x

Well done for helping him. Give him time to settle in and get used to you and with lots of tlc, he will be fine.

Have a think about getting him a buddy though as he was used to having a friend.

Post some photos when you can as we all love piccies! :)

I will try and bond him with my sow once he is settled and if they seem to tollerate each others through bars ill try and get him neutered.

we will see, first step: getting him back to piggieness.

ooo I'm almost the owner of a Nero4!! how exciting.... Luigi will have sooo much space and it also means he will get some exersize whilst he is recoperating. :)

ooo update update!

Luigi came out for a cuddle yesterday with my OH and I. we had got him a snuggle so he could feel safe and snuggle whilst being held. whilst there there was some vibrating and wriggling.

anyways he had a quick cuddle with my mum before we put him back and i was talking pig at him and there was a squeak! :) his very first!

so i have asked mum to get him out at least once a day and talk to him all the time(which I'm sure she does) and hopefully we may have him back to piggieness :))

does anyone have any ideas on how to help him along the way? i want to bring his character out but I'm not sure how to do it (i have only ever had very demanding noisy pigs)

xx
