My First Rescue

Some of you may have seen my thread in the welfare section about this little chap so I though I would post some pictures so you can see how he is getting on.

I also need some help on his name, he was called George when I rescued him. But that is the name given to him by the stupid pet shop. My OH wants to call him Christopher just because he is strangely obsessed with the name and I want to call him Houdini as he keeps escaping his little makeshift cage. So I thought I would ask people on here which they think suits him best.

Here as some pictures of him. The first one was taken the day I brought him home and the rest were taken today, hes been with us a week and a half now.

He is soooooo cute! His nose is looking much better, poor little chap. I do like the name George but I think he needs to grow into his name. He looks like a little mouse in the second picture, I think it's his whiskers.
Not sure about Christoper but Houdini does seem appropriate. :(|)
What about Magic?!
 
Magic is cute, my friend suggested Zeek which is quite nice. I thought of Houdini because so far has escaped the horrible pet shop, the little cardboard box i brought him home in and his cage on 3 occasions.

My OH is in a mood now that someone has voted for Houdini over Christopher. Ha ha
 
AWWW! He is so pretty and dainty, he almost looks like he should be a girl. I bet he'll grow into a big strapping boy though. I like Christopher - I think he looks like a Christopher :)
 
Wow! Well done for bringing him on so well. He looks SO much better.

I think he's more of an Oscar or a Humphrey, but I do think you need to suss out his personality.

You mention "first" rescue. Does that mean there will be others to follow...?
 
He is totally adorable. I'm so pleased you were able to help him. Maybe you should compromise- Houdinipher or Christini? :(|)
 
Ohh i like Humphrey. I will have to try that out on him see if it fits.

Well I don't plan on rescuing any more pigs at the moment. But I think if I saw a sick pig again it would probably pull at the heart strings a bit too much
 
Aww he is adorable! x) Well done for rescuing the poor lad! :) His nose is looking much better! :(|) I can really see a difference between the first pic and the pics you took today! :)
 
I think he is going to be a Christopher as I keep finding myself calling him that. His middle name can be houdini thought so as my partner can't gloat too much
