I admit I made this mistake :(
I just got lucky that Cookie only had a nip on his nose, and he was taken out straightaway and checked over and he was put in another cage (which I'd luckily been given a week before by my neighbor, perfect timing!) they're much happier alone now, Cookie actually popcorns around now which he never really did and Cream does it all the time :)
But I now know I'd never make the mistake again!
 
She has pead me off again.Had a row this time.I went in for something, can't remember what and the piggies had no hay.When I asked her if she had any she told me she had forgotten it and would go for some later.Asked her when they last had any and she said two days ago.Went mad and told her she was going to kill them and she needed to get her act together or give them away.She had sent one of the kids to lend money the night before but I didn't have any.Didn't even think to ask whether they had hay.God knows if they had veg.Told her if she runs out of anything to ask me as I always have spare.Starting to lose my patience with her big time but RSPCA will not see what I say and the piggies look healthy and well fed.They get cleaned out regularly and now have the space.So frustrating.
 
Oh my word! That would drive me mad as well. Maybe she would SELL them to you? If she needs money she might?!? What will she do if they need to go to the vet? She will probably give them to you then so you have to cover the bill. If she does make sure you get it in writing that she gave them to you, or she might say she wants them back and she never gave them to you.

I am sorry to hear this. ;(. When I got my 2 they never had any hay either. It's funny the RSPCA won't do anything. Hope she gets rid of them as it sounds like she can't look after them.
 
She is adamant she won't give them up.The worst is she has a pup now as well.Probs register him with pdsa.Just have to hang tight and hope she has the sense to give them up if they need vet treatment.Have a local rescue sort of on standby as me having them isn't an option ( loads of my own)
 
Why do people who don't deserve these precious creatures get to keep them!
 
Its clearly not love thats making her so determined to hang on to them, just sheer bloody mindedness. If she loved them she'd make sure they have all they need and more besides.
