I don't know about land snails, but aquatic snails do seem to have a real spatial awareness problem. They'll try and get through tiny holes and gaps, it's like a person who usually drives a Mini trying to drunk drive a tank "I can get through here, I've got masses of room! *hic*"

You didn't say how big they are, how do you what age they are. And if they can change their sex you could have zillions of baby

At the moment they rang from the size of a 10p up to the side of a plum but will get at big as your hand. They are only 6 months old so haven't finished growing and sadly one of them is a runt and hasn't grown in months.
When keeping snails you have to prepare to get rid of the multitude of eggs they create by freezing them as you find them, otherwise the would take over the world!

Eeeek...... i must admit snails scare me.... but yours look cute.....x
