I bought one of these in the local garden centre to let my boys have a bit of stimulation.

They love it! With some nice smelly food in like pepper or basil they get right in to searching it out...

Angus is the best at it, managing to retrieve four basil leaves in a few minutes...

Surprisingly Hamish got the hang of it relatively quickly even if he does run off with the pieces and hides behind the cage to eat the contents!

Oooh I saw these the other day!

What do they do? lift the things out to get the food?

Do you recommend them? I really like the idea!

Brilliant! I really like the idea of these too :)) would love to see the boys running off with the pieces! Hehe!

:)) :)) Wow, that looks good fun, Hasn't Arran grown! no longer the baby... Ace photo's

I found this one online - looks very similar - I may have to get one of each!

I have one and the piggies love it! If I leave it out, the cats play with it also. Thinking of getting another one so the piggies don't have to share! You can also have it in 3 different combos so thats a bonus. :))

oooh! wonder if my girlies would like one? Fab photos :) x

The boys love it!

You seem to need to use nice smelly foods so they realise there is something in there to look for. Fennel, pepper and basil or mint work well.

There are three modes in order of difficultness. The boys like playing level two best. They found level one a bit hit and miss, Arran was really good at it but didn't realise what he was doing really. They haven't tried level three yet...

It's a really good thing for floor itme to keep them busy if they are tending to bicker and makes them work a bit for their fav snacks. It's paid for itself in fun already.

You have to be careful not to leave it out with no food in tho or they lose interest in the whole game.

SportBilly's we will load it uo tommorrow and you can watch when you're round for coffee!

How do the difficulties work?

It looks so cute! I love all these enrichment things, I have the kebab sticks, veggie twisters and the good old apple log in all my piggies cages and they have such fun. :(|)

My friend got one for her rabbits, it has 2 sides so several games to play, I didn't think piggies would use it but clearly I was wrong, I may ask to borrow hers as not sure they use it much at all

How do the difficulties work?

The first level they just have to push a flat disk out the way to reach the food in the holes in the tray underneath.

Level two they have to pick up the little cups that cover the holes to find the food.

Level three they have to push the four cups around a track to find the food underneath.

I found they could do level one but they didn't seem to do it with much purpose or understanding, more they managed it by accident. Level two they really got to grips with and love picking * the cups to wave them aroound, run off with them and nom the treats under them.

I haven't tried level three yet but they are definately loving it! I wasn't sure what they'd make of it to be honest or if they could manage it but it's been a hit.

Ok I'm sold!

I'll be getting my guys one when I get paid :))

I bought my pigs one of these for xmas and they love it. I also found level 1 a bit hit and miss, in fact they spent more time looking at me as if to say 'that's a cool toy, but what we supposed to do with it?' My lot use level 2 as well....

I found pepper, brocolli, and carrot good foods (when chopped up) - it was fun searching for the cups afterwards as they liked running off with and playing with these :))

That looks like really good fun. How much was it? I've been thinking of getting something special for run time with them.

Ohh I saw one of these and like many people was worried piggie's wouldn't understand but it looks like so much fun I want to play !
Added to the wish list !
Fab photos x)

Hi Rach, I bought one of these after you told me about it last time you visited, and my piggles love it as well!

Like you, I use strong smelling stuff in the holes (basil is the winner at the moment) and they go mad for it!

I've only tried level one so far, but I might go to level two and see how they get on.

Lovely pics BTW! The boys are looking great! x

Oscar the bunny has one and he gets excited when I bring it out for our one on one playtime. Never tried it with the girls though maybe I should.
