(My daughter keeps calling them gingerbread piggies because I told her they were ginger!)

Anyway I brought Dinky and Gingey home from Cheylesmore rescue on Friday night, however I think Gingey is now Charlie at my daughter's request (although she has also asked to call them Bitz and Bobs today)

Dinky is the little flat faced pink eyed boy, currently he seems healthy (he's seen two different vets) but obviously we don't know if there will be any long term dental issues or similar due to the shape of his face. He's very confident and will come right up to you as soon as you open the cage, I was holding my 17 month old son earlier and he'd just eaten an orange and rested his hand on the edge of the cake, Dinky came up and started manically licking his fingers as they obviously tasted sweet. Charlie is also a very happy piggie and the cuddle up well together, we think they're brothers so hope they stay close once puberty hits.

They're supposedly about 14 weeks now.

Lovely piggies.I see you've caught the piggie bug x;)

This is IT, honestly, no more- these two were my OH's idea, we looked after them temporarily for a couple of nights on route to Cheylesmore and he offered to take them in, not that he ever cleans out or feeds the piggies- just enjoys watching them! Although to be fair he did use to feed Bubble and Squeak and they did used to wheek for him, he keeps asking why Fitz and Roy only wheek at me as he doesn't feed them!
