I have my girls free ranging in our spare room whilst I am on here and they are being a pain! Chewing skirting boards, picking at the carpet, trying to escape, squabbling with each other and generally being naughty :{

Are anyone else's pigs naughty when they have floor time?

Yup all the time!

Skirting boards are a big favorite in our house too along with knocking glasses of juice/cups of tea over, eating the hoover, climbing over the grids that keep them out of areas with cables, trying to push the sofa around, the list goes on....

Menaces the lot of them....

My piggies just love chewing the beading round my laminate floor. They also enjoy chewing the wardrobe legs:)):)) :(|)

It is not naughty as they do not understand they are not meant to do that. They are exploring and skirting boards are made of wood so great fun. :))

Hywel has discovered pulling down wallpaper; Caron is after any bit of plastic undelay she can get her gnashers in; Nia and Nerys have it in for the carpet fringes; the marble of the fireplace is obviously the preferred public loo (leaving interesting stains...). Never put a plastic bag on the floor in this house!

In short... Your girls are simply - PIGS! mallethead

Where do we all start....

Lacey has taken to eating a certain peice of the corex and now Darcy has copied

They chew the legs of the wooden unit I have in my living room and look straight at me whilst doing it

Lacey has a thing for carpet or a towel and tugs it all the time

Darcy wee's at every spot he stops at

Gotta love them rolleyes

Yes! my girls have only been having regular floor time in the dining room for the last few months. In that time they have destroyed alot of stuff, including my handbag.

Last year, I put my families presents under my tree ready to give them, when I saw them...my two piggies at the time Branston & Junior chewed the corners of every single present rolleyes one of my mums presents was a guinea pig bag...with chewed corners :))

:(|):(|):(|) I wonder if she thought the bag was meant to be chewed and that it was part of the print?

Mine seem to walk back to the cage as if they want to get back in and spend most of there time chewing the bars from the outside.

When they're in they don't chew the bars.

Strange

Well, they have been missing you for so long, so they are bound to be a bit wild at first!

Henry and Alfie chew on things unless I have hay down for them which they throw everywhere. I have hay under my chest of drawers that I haven't had chance to hoover up yet.

I put it in a cat litter tray but as its so light they just tip it up and empty it, on saturday there was a litter tray walking around the run, Alfie was trapped underneath it rolleyes
