My Girls Taking Responsibility

That's good they want to help. Well done in encouraging them. My 15 year old son will help me if I ask him to.

That is just lovely to see.
I can honestly say that getting guinea pigs and involving my girls with them right from the start has been one of the best decisions we ever made.

Everyone kept telling me they would loose interest, but 2 years later and they are still the main caregivers on a daily basis (obviously always overseen by me of course).
The best part is that because they did the majority of care and handling right form the start, they have an amazing bond with their piggies, and can really see the benefit of all the time they spent with them.
It looks like your girls will have a similar, wonderful experience.
