my boyfriend finally made me a guinea pig guard for the fire! they always used to run underneath it, and as the fire sits on a concrete slab they used to wee under there and it would just soak up into their fur!

hello Bullseye,

it's alright we tested it first. it's far enough away from the fire to not get too hot. the guard is only out when the piggies are out

its a narrow boat 47ft long. just big enough for me, Steve, 5 guinea pigs a cat and a ferret!

in a few years we will get a bigger boat but we are happy where we are at the moment. we don't have a permanent morring so we have to move every two weeks. it's great, if the neighbours pee us off we just move! i have seen so many kingfishers this last week its amazing!

thats really cool

we tried doing a narrow boat holiday but we had to do it on the cheap. Went on the Coventry Ring (i think its called)

got as far as Atherstone before we gave up on the boat they gave us

it was called the Joker and was no way suitable for 4 grown adults
would be ok for 1

looking back it was a cracking holiday but at the time it was a nightmare

WOW How lucky are you! I would love to live on a boat - was talking about it with OH the other day and when my daughter moves out when she's old enough we will certainly look into it
