That looks awesome.., just wondered if you had considered how your going to clean out below the hay loft. (only i had this problem myself, so thought id flag it before you pop the piggies in :)) )

well I'm hoping to have them litter trained to at least mostly poop in the litter try under the hay that will be in the kitchen area and when i do my weekly cleaning ill just lift up the coroplast and i can stick my hands through the grids at the bottom. to get the newspaper and fleece, then i can just use my vacume extendable thing to suck up any poo or hay left on the coroplast.

oh and if it doesnt work ill move the 2x3 over so that it hangs over the side.

Lovely pigs and very cute names! x) They're lucky girls to have such a fab cage :)

Awesome :) Please be aware, its very hard to litter train guinea pigs, so I'm not sure how much success you will have, but having a hay tray definatly helps! :)

I'm not sure what you mean about being able to get your hand through the grids... i assume you dont mean hand sized holes in them. :))

Sorry, it sound like I'm trying to rain on your parade! I'm not, it looks fab and they are going to LOVE all that space :)

on the bottom of the kitchen area i used the really big grids, and since its on the bottom and coroplast over it they cant get their heads through, and i can fit my hand through them if i just lift the coroplast out.

Love their names too! Skunk is so sweet. I hope they will become friends. Ive got a brown agouti as well, and I was saying how he looks like a squirrel the other day...

Wonderful they are together now in that spacious cage. Their names really suit their colours. Lovely girls.
