Hello!

I have a 4.5 year old guinea pig named Mackintosh. Recently he has lost a lot of weight. He used to be really heavy and now he is thin (lost his weight in about a month). However, I see him eating still. He sleeps a lot and has less energy (maybe cus he's old). He also drinks 1/2 a waterbottle a day and usually between him and the other piggy he lives with (Oreo a 3.5 year old pig) drank barely any of it.

Should I be worried? He seems okay other than that.

He needs to see vet URGENTLY. if he has lost so much weight there Is clearly something very wrong.

Yes you should be very worried. He's not overly old yet (5+ is the more senior years) but weight loss and loss of appetite is always very worrying
