Some people are realy odd about cleanliness around pigs aren't they @piggytime ?! My sister used to go mad if I washed the pigs food bowls in the sink. Apparently it's disgusting!

Very strange, I think we are likely to give them more germs than the other way around x

she always talks about how cute they but whenever she see the dirty fleece she freaks out. guinea pigs come at price, huh?

Sometimes I find a guinea pig poop in a room of the house where they don’t even go! Other people would be disgusted I’m sure, but it’s just a fact of life when you own piggies! Poop happens! Lol

Yea gpig poo dont bother me, or cows or sheep. Its dog poo and cat that i cant stand. Especially when i stand on it!
Totally agree, we are vegetarian and so are all our current and former pets (except the tarantula). Piggy poop, giant snail poop, goat poop, horse poop, rabbit poop... all fine just veggie stuff. Cat and dog poop (and human baby and toddler poop) make me actually vomit if I see it or smell it, but piggy poop is perfectly ok turning up in my shoes or bed :)

I looked out of my living room window a few months back, it has a little woods out the back. Someone had done a poo outside lol

My OH complains if he sees me put the piggy bowls in dishwasher without thoroughly spraying them with F10 first! If I spray them with F10 they don't need to go in the dishwasher! Duh!

I know.... mine insists that I Dettox the sink after cleaning out the piggy bowl and water bottle (with piggy-safe disinfectant) in there.... sigh...

I have made poop soup in a ramakin and i still use it For dipping stuff hahaha. I honestly washed it out very thouroughly. The cleaner you are the more you get sick, within reason 🤔😉

I wash the piggy bowls in the kitchen sink and I’ve used ramekins for Hibiscrub and critical care.
I use the kitchen scales to weigh the girls.
If everything is kept clean, washed after use there’s no problem
