Put my pigs out in the sunshine for half an hour yesterday for the first time in their little and lifes and guess what........they sat on the grass and didn't move. It was as though it was the scariest thing in the world ;D

I have to say that by the end of their time out there they were munching away :)

Anybody elses pigs do that first time, or is it just my 2 being 98)

My two just hid away not muching on grass at all. after an hour or so they were chasing each other and eating grass tho, YAY.

Hi, i've been trying to post but the site kept falling over :-\

Awwww poor little cuties they just didn't know what to do :-* :-*

When we put Duke outside he has a large cage for protection and then a smaller cardboard box inside the wire cage (no bottom so he can munch easily) for him to escape if he gets spooked by sounds of birds etc.. :smitten:

LOL i did like the thread name ;D ;D ;D

I tried too to get on the site but no luck........must be too many people trying to get on :)

i honestly thought I'd just picked up a couple of statues who happened to move indoors only ;D

Will try again tomorrow weather prevailing, not so lucky to have good weather all year round............ O0

i put my 2 out for the first time last weekend, they both hid in their little house but were mucnhing the grass. i think they just need time to get used to it. i will put them out again this saturday as the weather is supposed to be nice.

Thanks for the Pm Debbie, much appreciated. Only put them out for half an hour for the very reason you mentioned :)

Weather prevailing I might try them again this weekend, hope they don't have the memeory span of a goldfish tho otherwise we're gonna go nowhere fast ;D
