My guinea pig bites

Hi there,

My guinea pig bites, all the time, anybody. I talked to the doctor and she said to let him out a lot, which I do, however I don't see any improvement. She also mentioned to pet him as nothing happened (which is sometimes hard because he bites really bad sometimes).

Does anyone have any suggestions? I suspect that he is very sensitive at the back, if you touch him to pet him he jumps and bites. He is not sick though.

He is 6 months old and he can be friendly, but just for a short period.

actually he has lice, and we treat him for that since 2 weeks now, you think this can be the cause?
 
mite be y his so sensitive. wen my lil boy lincoln had them he was very moody and upset. they drove him mad. check the skin on his back and make sure its not sore. It may hurt when your petting him. sorry i cant help more
