first I was told it might be bot fly .then I was told go to veterinary so bobo and me went to veterinary.what do u think it was.reply please.

It sounds like a sebaceous cyst. Best to get a vet appointment but these usually aren't life threatening.

I agree with Stewybus. It sounds like burst sebaceous cyst. They are harmless, but it would be good to have it checked out by a vet to make sure. It may come back.

i'd guess sebaceous cyst aswell but better to get it checked out by the vet just to be sure

yes u are right its a cyst tell me please what causes a cyst never had a guinea pig have one before.

nice to hear from you.when I first so it I was really very worried. I was really pleased when I got home vet said that guinea pig bo bo was ok.
