My guinea pig bribes me with kisses!

I have five guinea pigs. My eldest is nearly 6 and he's always had a fierce temperament with other guinea pigs, but with humans, he's a complete softy. He'll lie on my belly for hours having cuddles.

About four months ago he started licking me, after all these years of not doing so and I was absolutely thrilled to learn he was showing me affection. More kisses came each time I had him to sit with me, and I praised him for showing me affection.

He now kisses my hand when he's desperate to get out of his pen to explore and have free range time. My guinea pig is bribing me with kisses, isn't he?
