Hi guys how are you?
I am very worried for my guinea pig its exiting something red from his anus and he is not pooping my friend told me it could be diarehha because he eats a lot of tomatoes and he told its red because of the tomato colour but i dont know so iam asking what should i do?

The best thing to do is take your guinea pig to the vet; they are best qualified to make an assessment. I recommend finding a cavy savvy vet; if you say where you are perhaps we can help more.

Is you guinea a boar (boy) or sow (girl). What is their behaviour like? Is it possible to post a photo?

Without more information, it's hard to say, but given what you have said, I think a vet is the best bet.

A photo may be helpful. But if you guinea pig is not passing any normal pellets of faeces then you need to ring a vet tonight and at the very very least get some advice.
