My Guinea Pig has a lump what could this be ?

Hi I'm really very worried about one of my guinea pigs , molly i had her out and noticed a medium soft lump on her lower back , she dosent seem to mind or even notice its there but I'm still worried , she is about five years old and is jsut a little over weight could this contribute towards the problem at hand ? please help me or if you have eny suggestions it would me much apreciated ! thanks !

For your comfort, the vast majority of lumps are benign.

It could be a cyst, but there are others here who have a lot more experience in this sort of field.
