My Guinea Pig Is Coughing Everyday

Hey guys , so I notice everyday my male guinea pig has coughed and then get mucus in his mouth is this normal or is something wrong with him. I have been trying a bunch of websites and non of them are giving the answers I need. So I just signed up for this in hope if a better response. Please help.

Please have your piggy seen by a competant vet to rule out an upper respiratory infection (URI) which can be fatal if left untreated.

We do have a vet near us and we might be going there to get my female guinea pig spaided so I could ask for a check up on Wallace (the one who is coughing) while we are there

Thats good. The sooner the better for the coughing piggy though.

Is he eating okay? Have you weighed him to check for any weight loss?

He is doing really heathly he has gotten bigger only because we had him since he was like a baby and I have had him for 4 months and I know that guinea pigs hide their illness so um scared that he was sick all along and I never knew

Please have Wallace checked for URI (respiratory infection) or heart issues. Is he eating very greedily and coughing afterwards?
