my guinea pig is going grey

Oh wow! I wondered if my pig was the only one. Chipy is 5 and a half and has a patch of grey. He used to be brown. :)
 
ginger is the black one in my pic (cause she has a ginger chin and belly) so it is really noticeable on her. just a few wee stray greys here and there on her back.
 
Merry has a beautiful silvery patch now behind one ear and is beginning to look like a wierd himalayan as his nose is the only area now which isn't speckled with white. He's about 5 and has been geting whiter and whiter for the past year. The rest of his coat looks like a speckled roan. Funnily enough he has no white hairs in his ginger patches - only on his brown fur!
 
Aww My pirate is going grey around his nose and eyes, he's black, it turned brown when he was about 3 and now he's comming up to 5 he's going grey. I love it when they do, makes them look all distinguished.
 
my wee ginger is only 2 and a half. she will be completely grey by the time she reaches 5 the way shes going haha x
 
Awe see I never knew that piggies could go grey. awe... I have a special place in my heart for the oldies. When I first adopted Chipychanga he was a nervous wreck and that lasted a few years! lol. But now he is so mellow and friendly. And after his teeth ordeal we have quite the bond. :)

So many little grey piggies. :))
