Hi all need help with what this could be on my guinea pigs mouth please see pic attached. Any help would be appreciated. At first I thought it was bit of food stuck on him so went to wipe and it was attached to his lip.

I would suggest a trip to the vet.
Only a vet can give you a proper diagnosis and treatment if necessary.
If you are UK based there is a vet locator at the top of the forum - just tap the menu symbol.
These are vets we know are good with guinea pigs. It’s not comprehensive, just ones members have recommended.

It looks like chilities (sorry I can’t spell it) but a vet will be able to diagnose and prescribe the correct treatment. It’s a fungal infection that presents with sores on the lips caused by feeding too much acidic fruit such as apples and tomatoes

It isn’t always caused by acidic fruit, it can happen if the mouth or lips become slightly cracked and bacteria gets in. My two don’t like fruit either, just a bit of melon in the summer

Hi! Please see a vet for cheilitis (lip infection) during regular opening hours as soon as you can get an appointment. It is not necessarily caused by too much fruit; any tiny crack in the lips can open the door to a bug getting in. Some piggies are a lot more sensitive than others. Whatever it is, it requires the kind of hands-on examination that we can neither give nor are we qualified to replace a vet.
It is no criticism of your care or a failure of yours. Stuff happens to anybody!
