She is 6 months old, what should I do? Should I take it away?

What a strange thing to keep in your guinea pig's cage! How long do you keep it there for before disposing of it?

Hello Pultap :) Welcome to the forum. Really nice to have you join us

Please remove the bag from the cage, plastic can be eaten and cause a gut blockage, we know you wouldn't want to hurt your piggy so best to remove the bag and keep it away from them

Please always move ANY plastic out of a piggy's reach!

It can cause them to die from a blockage down the line if a piece of plastic is not excreted but becomes embedded in the guts.

All rodents will chew, it's just in their nature. Please remove the plastic bag from her reach and use a different kind of bedding. It's inevitable that she is going to chew plastic within her reach and the risk is that it could form an intestinal blockage, which could be fatal.
