My guinea pigs are escape artists

Hi everyone,

I know they are every inquisitive animals, but I definitely think they are escape artists. They were in their play pen and I was doing some spot cleaning. It was my fault because my foot caught one of the metal bar things and a small gap opened but next thing I know Bert came out and (because he doesn’t like being handled as much as Ernie) I was chasing around the room trying to grab him :P luckily I caught him, but I checked him over and he is fine

oh yes, this has happened to me before!

Put them out in their run for some floor time, take my eyes off them for 2 minutes and I hear H2B saying "Nixon has escaped!"
Had to shuffle her back into the run as she squeezed under a cabinet next to it!

she did the same thing again, so I bought a sturdier run with higher walls so she cannot get out!

they are funny little things :)

Yeah I may need to get a sturdier one in the future as mine wasn't mega expensive, but does the job for now
 
I remember when we first got Linney and Frenzy I had them barricaded off in a section of the room with some boxes... Linney figured out the boxes were empty and she could just nose them out of the way, so all of a sudden I see them both streaking across the living room- I said, "Linney, what are you doing?" loudly and she turned around and went back the way she came with Frenzy on her heels! LOL! After that, we got baby gates!
