My guinea pigs eye is like this what do i do

15271467673171024433573.webpmy guinea pigs both had their babies 3-4 days ago and one of the babies eyes looked white from afar and I thought it was half blind I wanted the baby to be with his mother for a bit before grabbing him. I looked at his eye and it's like this what is it what do I do, I can't afford a vet right now but I can try, another baby's eye is not good but it's shut. This pup eye looks swollen and sorta popping out . is it infected? What do I do for now to keep the infection from spreading until I can find a good and affordable vet
 
Unfortunately eye injuries cannot wait and need a vet urgently. The eyes deteriorate so quickly that any delay is likely to result in the eye needing to be removed. Sorry to be so blunt but there is no point trying to sugar coat something serious
 
Infections need antibiotics unfortunately @IrisN6766 and only a vet can prescribe them. You'll need to go to the vet.

You could ask the vet for credit or use a credit card to cover the cost.

We are a rescue friendly forum and so I would like to suggest that you don't breed guinea pigs, especially if you can't afford to keep or treat them.
 
This needs veterinary attention urgently. If you are in the UK you could try the PDSA if you cannot afford the veterinary treatment. I think you have to be in a low income group or receiving government benefits but take a look on their website.
Please don't let these little babies suffer.
 
Please see a vet as an emergency, this needs to be seen to today as your piggy could loose their eye and undoubtedly will be in pain.
 
Unfortunately you need to see a vet regardless of weather you are able to afford to or not. This is a medical emergency which if not seen promptly could result in much higher costs or even the loss of an eye. If you cannot afford veterinary treatment due to being on benefits for example, some pet charities will see you. If you need helpf finding one please let us know. Let us know how your piggie gets on.

Your baby needs to see a vet as soon as possible in order to prevent it from losing its eye or having to live with lifelong damage.
I am very sorry; eye injuries cannot wait because they can deteriorate very quickly!

The other baby's eye also needs to be seen. iIt has likely entropion (inward turned eye lashes, not rare in newborns), which is pretty easy to sort out for a vet and will only cause an eye infection/long term damage if it is not addressed promptly.

How have your babies come about?
