Hi guys, i am a first time guinea pig owner. I am from India and my friends gifted me a lovely guinea pig. When they brought it she had lice. Due to non availability of a good vet and guinea pig products in my city , i treated her with neem oil. The treatment was successful but now she is losing a lot of hair. Whenever i pet her , a lot of hair sticks to my shirt and hand. I dont doubt mites since there is no extensive scratching. I doubt scurvy ? What are the easily available remedies for scurvy ? I applied lime juice drops to her grass. Her diet consists of carrots , tomatoes, coriander leaves and fresh grass. Please help .
