My Guinea Pigs new Pen!`

The pigs are in their new pen today and seem to really like it. My husband made it himself yesterday.

Wanted to show you guys Chipychanaga's silver hair.

Now my only concern is the wire flooring. So I have laid out fleece to protect their feet. I can't have it as an open bottom as I'm afraid animals could get in. Any suggestions?

Awww Chipy really is the male version of Dottie! They would make such a cute couple ! Huummm, i think i'd be worried about the wire flooring too as their little feet are really delicate. It would be fine with the fleece blanket but then they don't get to munch on the grass....not too sure on suggestions! Sorry! I guess if they are always supervised you wouldn't need to worry about animals getting in and could remove it?

I'd get rid of the wire flooring, they could hurt their feet and can't get at the grass properly. If you're worried about something getting in use some tent pegs to hold it down and put some bricks around the outside where there are obvious gaps if you have a hugely bumpy lawn.
