How can I look for patches and stuff I am new to this situation my guniea pig never has any issues she is always healthy until today I see dandruff hope it isn't like a serious situation where she can get sick.Just keep an eye on it for now. It doesn't look serious.
Look for bald patches, crusty skin, hairs with skin flakes attached etc. Please do not treat on spec with cheap shop or home products as you can easily make things worse instead of better.
You may be dealing with dry skin, a fungal skin infection or two different types of mites; they all need different treatment.
Thanks!Hi, sorry I should have said welcome to the forum.
Good advice given above, hope it clears up quickly.
