Pixie is my first syrian hamster and her antics make me laugh lol. Thought I would share this of her.

Aww she is so cute drool I had a syrian hamster called Reginald for three years (he went to the bridge in September :( , still miss him!) he used to climb the bars like this too and it made me panic so much when he fell down! If i saw him clinging with one arm i'd have to put my hand under him to brake his fall! Hehe, I love how she tries to grab hold of the tube at one point, she is a strong little hammy!

Aww, thanks so much, this is soo lovely. My previous hamsters did thjis, too, my current one, Stephen Patrick, doesnt but he is improving from a very lazy sole to a good climber so who knows? I wouldnt worry too much though when they fall, they're all pretty good stuntmen(and women:-).My Stephen recently fell down one storey (he has a three storey cage) but managed to do plenty of rolling and just looked a bit ruffled afterwards. think I was more shocked:red

Oh dear! It always looks so painful, and they always land on their backs! Can't be good?!

hehe, no, I trust Stephen, I've seen him (and my previous hamsters)falling over so many times and jumping from heights, if it did them harm I think they d refrain. With landing on the back I am sure Pixie will learn to improve that, even clumsy Stephen managed to come back on all fours now8) Looking forward to more Pixie pics from you:-) You can put them in the section Other Pets here ( I know its confusing where to put things first...8:)
