How do such small fluffy creatures effect me so much?
Ginny sat on my knee giving my forearm a jolly good lick. I felt like my heart could burst. I only usually get a couple of licks, but I must of been extra tasty tonight!
It took me many years to get more guinea pigs after my last 2 died. I just couldn't face losing anymore. When I finally plucked up courage to get some more, I was determined not to get too attached. Here I am a year later, and they have me wrapped around their little paws.
They must have magic in them to enchant me so

I think they are all too easy to dismiss as 'disposable' pets in our modern society, so I think they truly reward those people that take the time to really know them.

Fudge, the rascal of my herd, but who looks the fluffiest Rex ever, finally LICKED me today! First time! I have been trying hard to get a lick from her for 7 months!

It was a special moment that I will cherish and what she promptly looked at me blankly for.

There sure do, the most amazing thing is the way they get into those hearts who don't like animals and would never get involved with one!
