I took my Herd outside for some exercise time. I converted one of my raise vegetable beds into a Guinea Pig Buffet Habitat. It is 6 feet long and 4 feet wide.

I have Romaine, Marigolds, Wheat grass, Cilantro, and parsley growing...all organic.

Hope you enjoyed my pictures of my piggies :))

Your piggies must think they're in heaven surrounded by all that yummy giant fresh food. Fantastic!

I'd like to think that they enjoyed themselves. I saw two of them popcorning and running around :) We were outside for 3 hours and now they are all snoozing in their cage. I think they are worn out.

Wonderful idea and fantastic pics! I would maybe just keep an eye on their droppings. If they become quite soft then you may need to limit their time in the buffet area as too much veg can upset their stomachs.

They look they're having a fantastic time. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful idea! it looks like piggy heaven!

Love your gang they are sooooooo x)

That must be the greatest thing ever for a piggie, fantastic idea. Lucky piggles!

What a brilliant idea, it's a piggy version of all you can eat buffet! If I put my Buzzy in there I'd never be able to get him out!:))

Thank you for all the awesome comments.

I thought this was a good way to kill 2 birds with one stone. While I garden, I can have my piggies do floor time at the same time. I've been taking advantage of our fair weather lately...we just got over a heat wave and i don't expect my piggies to go during the winter when it is all raining and cold.

During the fall, their veggie patch will be going through a transformation in crops...I'm eliminating Romaine and Parsley and planting Green/Red Leaf Lettuce and more cilantro.
